Marble

Marble is an example of popular building stones, which is mostly used indoors. Marble shows high resistance to heat whereas it is vulnerable to acid and changes its appearance when exposed to weather changes.

The building marble stones that exist in Iran are all attractive and of high quality.  Dehbid marble is also from the marble family named after its origin, the Dehbid region in Fars province.  This beautiful marble is cut in different dimensions and used for inside Iran and for export.  There are no restrictions for the use of this building stone, because it has a high color spectrum and at the same time it is strong and resistant.  As such, this marble is applicable for all structures.  The main color of this stone is cream and it can be found in various other colors and varieties. This stone is a practical and popular marble.  Certainly, the stone is popular for its unique characteristics.  The first feature of this building stone is its shine.  All types of Dahbid stone are very transparent and shiny due to their high polishability and density.  Another important feature of Dehbid marble is its homogeneous and natural surface, which has attracted many fans.  The practical and modern colors of this marble allow it to be used in different parts of the building.  The excellent cutability of this stone is also an important advantage for it.  Dehbid marble can be easily cut in desired standard sizes and used in building materials.  To use marble in stone artefacts means to use it in items such as the sofa tables, vases, fireplaces, iPhone stands and also in sculpture.  As for other uses of marble for the interior design of buildings one can name walls, staircases and stairs, flooring in residential houses, flooring in hotels, offices and companies.
